What nikon SLR camera should I get? I have no clue about SLR cameras at all.?

hey guys, I wanna buy a Nikon SLR camera because it takes very awesome pictures but I have ZERO clue or knowledge about SLR cameras, I have no idea about the cleaning the kits and etc.

my budget is 700 max and I really want a Nikon since a lot of ppl tell me its the best.

any suggestions? thanks for answering.

Well you don't have to know anything about cleaning kits ... keep the camera safe and clean and when and if you need to ever clean your camera, then go into a camera store and they well sell you what you need and show you how to use it correctly.

My guess is that you have found a real "deal" and then include a whole bag full of "extra" goodies with your purchase.

STAY AWAY from them ... they are selling gray market products!

For under $470 at Amazon, you can buy a Nikon D40 with AF-S 18-55 mm ED lens.  If you want another choice, the buy from B&H Photo, Adorama, Ritz or Costco.
