  1. Teaching

  2. A couple that come to my mind right now:

    Social Worker/Case Worker

CRM with any corporation - Construction companies, etc, often hire anthropologists for help with ensuring there is no historic sites disrupted/destroyed durring construction.  Legally they have too... Also this CRM (Cultural Resource Management) field is utilized in the Conservation Department as well...

Large corporations often hire Anthropology/Social Science/Sociology type folks as cultural guides in other countries to help with business practices with other cultures.

If you specialized in Social Anthropology you are in better shape... because of the flexibility within the social science arena.

  3. Isn't this sort of like asking "What non accounting jobs can I get with my accounting degree?"

But there are some, and not all of them involve food service or stable shoveling! I was informed recently by some new graduates that a number of new anthropology graduates are finding work in marketing departments. Sort of the same angle people with psychology degrees who don't want to work in psychology take. With a master's degree you'll be qualified (officially and unofficially) to teach several different subjects.

  4. Teaching, advertisement, work for the police force go into nursing, or law. Plenty of things you can do.

  5. Umm...Would you like fries with your order?

  6. Ditto: teaching. That is what I did with mine, although I haven't given up my dream to travel and do research in Africa.
