So the answer you get will depend on the person being asked, relative to your number. For all nuns and priests, then (at least most of them), all of us are having way too much fun.

How old is the girl?  If she is only 16 and has already slept with 35 men, then yes, that is too many and she is a s**t.  If she is 80 years old and has slept with 35 men in her lifetime, then that is not too many (she probably should have slept with more).

Well to answer this, if you lived in Victorian times, then more than 1 is a bad thing. But they all did sleep with many more, they just kept it a secret.

Now a days, you can sleep with as many as you choose. Just take precautions against getting pregnant and STD's. And, like the Victorians, keep it to your self. Some people still like to call you a s**t.

If asked (which is tacky and way insecure), be extremely vague;  "you're not my first and if you're a jerk, you won't be my last".

Remember, in almost every other human activity "experience" is judged a "plus".
