He couldn't possibly take the number 7 cause it belongs to Raul, who is a legend and the captain. and 17 is taken by Van Nistelrooy.

  3. like the two above me said, it's not gonna happen. today he announced he'll stay for at least another season.

    but about the number, i think 27 and 77 would be fine guesses. i think 27 because large numbers aren't very popular in spain. plus, i think he played with number 27 for one of the portugal national teams he played for, but not sure.
