There is a Biology activity that I know of and can't find out exactly how to mix the nutrients for the bacteria. I know Jello is involved. Can anyone else help? I know you can get the Agar, but I am not going to be able to get that. Thanks!!

  1. You can use beef bouillon, sugar and gelatin.

  2. glucose + the critical elements, i forget what they are, but glucose is the main one.  :)

  3. If you can't get any agar, then it would be possible to use gelatin. A very long time ago gelatin was used as the solidifying agent before agar. It isn't as strong or solid, and some bacteria can actually degrade the gelatin (unlike agar).

sry cnt help with the rest of the question... Hope This Helps :)
