What objects do you hoard/collect? is there any connection between them and your hobbies/fears?

A very unique question.

I tend to hoard/collect soccer gear, jerzees, shoes, you name it. If you think too much you may give into the thought that I collect these items because of the fear of ageing and being unable to play. Or you may just think I like soccer and I collect as much as I can.

   I beleive your answer is not of fear but hobbie. We collect things because want to so it is a hobbie not because we are scarred of them.

well, my #1 hobby is prestamped, prequilted cross sttifch baby or lap quilts, I also love to read & homeschool my son, we have ablast.

Then my husband & I collect shot glasses, hurricane glasses, pilzner glasses, & martini glasses, they have to be from Hard Rock cafe,  Planet Hollywood, House of Blues, Hooters, & Rainforest Cafe, & they have to say the state & city there from too.

I collect things with an Asian flair. I started around 78 when my husband joined  the Alpha organization. Their colors are black and Gold. I was looking for something with his color in mind and ran across a pair of Asian vases in the color. It just happened the color was blk /gold because it is the Asian Art I  found I am drawn too. I especially love the  detailed wood crafting (no nails) paper art (origami) and the print ,the silks ,the dolls and the color RED. I feel peaceful around these things. I am a high energy  excitable person so  I guess these things calm me
