  1. 3.  Red shift of galaxies.

  2. #3

  3. 3. - [everything we can see at any appreciable distance, is, (or was), receding.]

  4. #1 and  #3.  The CMB is a picture of the universe 380,000 years after the big bang and was the nail in the coffin to the static universe theory and was the proof that the big bang theory is the correct theory.

The redshift of galaxies discovered by Edwin Hubble in the 1920's, shows the 200 billion other galaxies in the universe are moving away from each other and if played in reverse they would all collide at a single point at the same time which was the first proof that the universe began at a single long gone point.   When the CMB was discovered in the 1960's, the big bang was prooved as fact.  Some still argue about it but most are  uninformed.

  5. 3. Redshif of galaxies discivered by Hubble was the first evidence of the expansion of the universe.

  6. all of them, actually, to various extents. but the one your homework is looking for is number 3.

scintists listen to comic background radiation with special radios. they play it at parties. its really cool.

  7. Shawn, hopefully this isn't your homework.
