  1. They need help in the bullpen. Octavio Dotel is a free agent, they may want to look for a SS (they can afford to put expensive Lugo on bench due to Manny trade)

  2. Red Sox need bullpen help. They might look for George Sherrill or Brian Fuentes.

  3. The Red Sox, the Yankees, and the Tigers are all going to try to mortgage the farm to get CC Sabathia.  I personally think he's going to stay with the Brewers as he will get the money he wants and be able to hit.  I think the Sox are going to make a push to get Bush as he would really beef up the starting lineup.

    1. Beckett

    2. Lester

    3. Dice-K

    4. Bush

    5. (Probably Wakefield or Buchholz depending on if Tim retires.

My concern is their bullpen.  Since Okajima has pitched batting practice since June and Timlin is one pitch away from blowing any game, they need someone who can set up Papelbon.

Everyone in the regular lineup stays with the exception of Lugo who is replaced by Lowrie.

  4. I just hope lugo is gone

  5. I'm not a gm, and I can't predict exactly what they will do, but this is what I would do.

    1. I would pick up a third baseman, or first baseman and play Youkilis at wherever I didn't pick someone up at. Lowell can back up both positions. He can't be trusted to play every day anyway.

    2. I would pick up 1 top of the rotation starter, and if I could a few middle of the rotation guys like Kyle Lohse.

    3. The last thing I would do would be to pick up a few bullpen pieces. Maybe Brian Fuentes or maybe K-Rod depending on the SOX budget
