  1. What about a larger plastic kiddie pool...my dog loves that!! 100 degrees, dang!! Its like 90 here, I hate it.

  2. i live in a valley and yes its hotter then most but the lake seems like a good idea. just take sunblock. and also im not sure if its lakes or rivers but one of them can have underwater currents that can pull you under water and you can drown, so be careful even with your dog

  3. How lucky is your dog to have such a thoughful owner? I'm very impressed! And to have a dog pool in your town? We have nothing like that here in the UK! How about getting your dog his own paddling pool for your yard? Or swimming pool? Kids ones are cheap and as long as his nails are short it should be ok. Be careful of the hot ground he walks on - too hot and his pads can get scorched. On the rare days we have really hot sun here i have to put out a blanket and soak it with cold water as i live in a flat but its got a 50 foot patio and the slabs get very, very hot. Hopefully the dog pool will be finished before too long and he can spend his days playing in there - i just can't get over having one at all ha ha - best of luck.

  4. i live in palm springs and its like 120 right now. i used to have a dog that loved swimming in pools and being sprayed by the hose and the squirt gun and stuff like that.

  5. Yeah its always a hundred degrees here in texas lol. Do you have a stream or river close to you, because those are always great places, and that way you can just wear some shorts and get you legs nice and cool. Yeah have another sprinkler party! Your dogs can probably handle the weather if you can, always bring water with you though and keep you dogs hydrated.

Most playgrounds now are fenced in and are relatively shaded, so you might want to try you local school.

My dogs also love chewing on ice when its hot out.
