  1. Whilst semi synthetic is recommended, I use fully synthetic for maximum engine protection. It's expensive but you can find deals if you keep your eyes open,

  2. Hi, do not use cheap for a start, Myself, I use Duckhams UK never had any problems in all the years I have used it.

  3. The recommended oil is semi synthetic 0w/30 or 10w/40.

With regular oil changes, spending a great amount on oil is a waste.

Halfords do a 10w/40 part synthetic oil at £21.99 for 5 litres (currently with a free set of screwdrivers!)

  4. If it were mine I would buy a good quality 5w/30 -

    1. you only get what you pay for

    2. it will serve both winter & summer

    Regards . h

  5.   I have a 91 Caddy with 189,000 mils on it. I use Wal-mart Brand 10w-30w .Yes cheap! In all the cars I've owned in 40 years most had over 100,000 mile on them. And yes sold them running and still running.Check your manual and get what they recommend. (se,sg,sf,)  Hey the manufacture did all the home work.

  6. 10w/40
