What oil should i use for my porsche 911 turbo S

I live in europe and got the car shipped to Greece. I am currently living in Greece and i am running out of oil. I used to use Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. Now when i look around in gas stations here and i cannot find any mobile oil. Maybe i can use any alternatives located in Europe? Please help.

  1. ELF makes a great oil specifically for your car.  Also, any Porsche dealership would be happy to give you a list of acceptable oils to use in your car. When I work on a Porsche, I usually insist upon a good desludging treatment before the oil change.  My choice is butyl cellosolve which dissolves all the muck that may have accumulated on your turbo bearings and seals. Lubro-Moly makes a great cleaner called oil sludge remover (which has butyl cellosolve in it). On the internet there is a list of acceptable oils available in Europe, you just have to fish around a litlle to find it. Synthetic oils will obviously protect your engine and turbo the best.   2. Check your owners manual; or the Porsche web-site, they'll be able to tell you all the conversions and substitutions. They generally be happy to, as well; you're driving one of their cars...

  3. I would continue to use Synthetic oil. I would call the local Porsche Dealer in Greece and ask what synthetic oil they use currently.
