There both oxymoron statements.  They are little more than buzz-phrases that people have started to use lately to sound more intelligent than they actually are.

Sounds like a New Englander to me...don't tread on me....no one will tell me what to do...people can believe what they want and do what they want as long as it doesn't affect me and my personal freedom
