Ok so have you seen wrong turn 2? The one with evil hillbillies? Cannibals? Yeah. That's how my dream was. Only I was at my grandma's house, and these cannibal hillbillies were chasing me. I was running around and I knew I was dreaming. I was trying to wake up but I couldn't. And, later in my dream, was the craziest thing you will ever hear. I was in the house behind a glass sliding door and I saw this creature. It was almost a human version of smeagol/gollum. But it was goth!!! And what happened next was rather disturbing, and I will not say. PLEASE ANSWER?!??

  1. Symbolism in dreams sometimes shares common meanings from one person to the next. Sometimes, however, the symbolism is so abscure or disambiguated that the meaning of such things are only specific to that person. They have no one single meaning, rather its just how you look at it. And in reality dreams can mean whatever you want.

But to give you my take when people dream of shadows, monsters, demons, goblins and all other abominations they are dreaming of things that represent their archetypal "shadow self". The shadow self is a collective understanding that everybody experiences at some point. However we don't always dream of it in the same way.

The shadow self represents hidden desires, repressed memories, fears, anxieties, things that can be hindering progress in life. To dream of it, in any form, symbolizes the need to get in touch with yourself and access your true motives and goals in life. The shadow self often appears in dreams during times in our lives when we are doing things out of character, that go against our morals, or when we are doing things that are holding us back in life (wittingly or not).

The main focus of the dream is the shadow self. But your grandma's house has meaning too. First to dream of your house in general represents you, all that is you. It is the structure of your life, the foundation of your existance. Your grandma's house can mean several different things. In most cases I think dreaming of grand parent's homes represents the self as it was in the past, or things from the past you cling on to. Perhaps values or attitudes that are obsolete or need to be modified.

To tie both the shadow self and the house together I think the overall meaning of the dream is that you need to look into your past to resolve from issues originating from there in order to truely understand your desires, get on the right track and maybe stop doing things that are holding you back.

  3. Dreams are interesting and can have meaning. It's not paranormal, there's nothing spooky about them.Try herehttp://answers.yahoo.com/dir/;_ylt=AhJ3D...

  4. It means you had a bad dream.  I have them all the time.  I also have very strange dreams.  I do not assume the dream has any paranormal significance.

  5. You have a problem floating among your unconscious thoughts. You are making it seem worse than it actually is since nothing can actually go wrong. Additionally there is another problem beyond your mind--a relationship, recent death, or something maybe? Anyways, you are aware of what the problem is but cannot solve it. Interestingly enough, this problem that you are aware of is what's causing the unconscious one. You're very close to solving it though.

  6. It means "don't watch horror movies if you have problems separating them from reality".  Also, I have heard much crazier things than dreaming of a human, goth, version of gollum on the other side of a glass door.  Much much much crazier things.

  7. I think you had a demonic dream. You need to ask Jesus Christ to protect you and your family from all harm and danger and also ask him to cleanse your dream. That creature that you saw could be a demon.

  8. what happened?  the creature molested you?

just remember it was ONLY A DREAM!!

  9. You can "ask" the Dream "Doctor".  Google him.  he used to have a radio show, but contracted ALS, sadly, and can no longer speak easily.  He has a bunch of great stuff on his site.
