  1. matt sundien? sedien twins? I'm lost.............if they don't sign any big names this offseason, they'll be a better team in the long run, have patience.....

  2. I'm sad to see Naslund gone.... especially the same year Linden retires.... and the Sedin twins.... well they haven't exactly been "producing" like they should be so I'm kind of on the fence about them this season....I honestly think they should start from the ground up, get some young TALENTED blood in there and for the love of god give Luongo a BREAK!!  Find another tender that can handle the crease and give him a rest from time to time!!  When your the only one on the team actually making a difference, the pressure gets a little high.

  3. Poor guys up there in Vancouver...they didn't have enough Offense as it is to lose one of there best scorers has to sting.  As a Devil's fan, I feel your pain

  4. Hey Everyone! I was shocked to hear that Naslund has signed with NY expecially since i cant think of another player currently with the Canucks that would make a Great captain. I really hope the Canucks can find the players that works well with Luongo because it always seems like we have one or the other - a good goalie or a couple of good players but never both. Thats just how i see it but i am rooting for the hope Vancouver will shine next year.

  5. Good thoughts on the Canucks and their chances of making the playoffs in the coming year... SLIM TO NIL...!  And it;ll happen until they smarten up and bring in proper "hockey heads".

Their scouting is almost none evident, the front office leaves a lot toi be desired, and they bring in a G M. and former player agent who for years fought tooth and nail with G M 's over signings -now he's on the other side of the fence.

And do you not think down the road, he will on the Q.T. try and convince some of his "former clients" to sign with The Canucks...????

But as long as people are willing to pay the ticket prices, $15.00 to $20.00 for parking at the so called rink, $8.00 for half a glass of beer, X number of bucks for awful munchies, the management doesn't shiv a git - bottom line - $$$$$

  6. Thank-you.  I came on here just hoping someone would ask a Vancouver question, since i also just heard how Naslund has gone to NY.

Welcome to the dark years of having an inexperienced GM running a franchise in a very complicated salery cap league.

Maybe you could ask JFJ what to do, since he is currently unemployed.

What you need is a wise mind like a Brian Burke, unfortunately he is already headed to Toronto.......some time before the start of the season.

You may be holding out a thread of hope for Mats sundin signing in Vancouver.  Well let me tell you how it is.  You are a Canadian city, which is good because Mats isn't gonna play in a US city.  Unfortunately you are in the west and the amount of travel is way too much for good ol' Mats.  He wants to stay in the East.  He will never play for the Sens because of all the history between them and us.  But he would consider the Habs but obviously he didn't.  Trust me, when training camp comes along you will see Mr. Sundin wearing the blue and white.

I am sorry to see the canucks going through such hard times.  My 2nd favorite team after the Leafs are the Canucks.  I guess it is your time.  All the forces in the universe must balance and with the Mapleleaf franchise coming back, I guess some other great Canadian franchise has to suffer.

I have been a Leaf fan for 34 years.....I know how you feel and what you are going through.

At least you will get a high draft pick on 09.

  7. Ah................the sign of a true NHL fan..................misspelling names all over the place!

  8. The poor Canucks, I don't think anyone understands what is going on, they are utterly confused.
