There is a very strange insect in my living room! It is about an inch long, including it's legs. It has six long spindly legs and two long thin atenna at the front. It's body is quite thick and is shaped like a pointed oval. It is green with darker rings going around it. It doesn't appear to have wings (that I can see!). I can now see that there is another one just outside my front door. I am in the UK. What are they and do they bite or sting? Thanks!
