What on earth is wrong with quintin rampage jackson today?

on the yahoo homepage it says he was being chased by police. what is wrong with that dude? just because he lost the belt .. doesnt mean he should throw his life away

He was arrested for hit and run and eluding...$25000 bond....He did not stop when he was lit up by the police.

Did you see the footage of him being interviewed before the accident?  I think it is on TMZ--check it out.  He seems dazed and confused and on the verge of a mental breakdown.

I think I know what is causing him problems.  He hinted at it after the Griffin decision.  He is wrestling with perceived racism.  Rampage said after the UFC 86 losing decision that he knew how things worked because he grew up in the South.  Also after he beat Chuck Liddell, Rampage was surprised at the poor reaction from the fans in the arena after the fight (he attributed it to discrimination).  I think this really bothers the guy.  He is usually very happy and full of jokes, but during the two times I have seen him allude to racism he is truly sad and confused.

I feel bad for the guy.  He is pious and at the same time a warrior--sometimes a difficult tightrope to walk.

Seeing as we lack all "real" details, lets not go overboard just yet.  This might be something as "simple" has he was drunk and crashed his car.  Yes he lost his belt, but we don't know WTF happened.  I say don't worry about what is wrong until we get the details as to what happened and why.

forrest wore him out and he had to drive as fast as he could the opposite direction.

he didn't stop because he knew forrest used to be a cop and maybe thought that he was trying to pull him over for round 6.
