Stop flying off on package holidays four or five times a year.  Take a ferry, go by train.  You can get a long way and pollute much less.  Would really help with CO2 emissions

If you want to do something for the environment, find a way to clean up the Thames. As for global warming, the only way to stop it is to put a giant mirror in space that can help control the amount of sunlight hitting Earth, because it is the Sun, not greenhouse gasses, that is warming the planet.
