  1. Hemel Hempstead, definitely. By train, you can get from there to the main Harrow station, which is called Harrow and Wealdstone, in less than 20 minutes. By car it would take about 45 minutes, if there was no traffic.

The next nearest is probably Fulham, but that's a good hour on the underground.

  2. Fulham's the nearest, by some way: it's just over 12 miles away; Hemel Hempstead is nearly 18 miles from Harrow.

Fulham-Harrow's a familiar journey for me. It takes about 30 mins by motorbike during the day; rather more at rush hour unless you want to ride like a nutcase. If you were doing it by car, you'd have to allow much more time -- easier to take the tube.

If you're taking public transport, your easiest/best route is Piccadilly Line (South Harrow) to Earl's Court and change to District Line (Fulham). Allow 45-50 mins for that.

Hope that's a help to you.

If you need to get distance between more places in the future, http://www.multimap.com/ is very handy.

    =)

  3. i would say hemel hempstead.

how long it takes is down to tfaffic.

but shouldnt take longer than 20 minutes on a cleafr run and about 1hr 15 mins on a busy day,

  4. Fulham, an hour.

  5. Fulham.

How long to get there will depend on what means, and what time of day. Less than an hour, though.
