  1. Edward Weston.  Every time I look at his photos or read from his Daybooks where he is discussing photography it reminds me why I went into photography 30 years ago.  It is giving me the desire to once again explore photography.

  2. I really like Diane Arbus.  She would photograph the ordinary and make it look interesting and unusual, but she would also photograph the unusual and make it look normal.

She had a great eye and an interesting way of looking at the world.

Also look at Dorothea Lange.  Her images during the Great Depression where sensitive and telling.  She captured life during this time that is so telling of what people went through.

    Edward Weston is also wonderful!

  3. I love Edward Weston's work... Pepper #30 is my favorite! I just love how he is able to relate things to the human body.

  4. I enjoy the spontaneous nature of Ralph Gibson and Scott Cunningham. But, I really like the well-thought-out, tremendous beauty of Ansel Adam's work. Why? Look at "Clearing Winter Storm," and you will have your answer.
