What one thing should you do in Atlanta GA with kids?

I'm going down for a few days, don't have much money -

My daughter is 9, my son is 8.

  1. Stone Mountain is a great park to visit, and climb the mountain.


  2. Go to the Aquarium in Georgia, it's beautiful and not that expensive.

  3. downtown ATL has many attractions for kids...Zoo Atlanta, CNN center, Georgia Dome, Underground Atlanta Mall, Musuems, Phillips Arena, World of Coca Cola...some of these attractions are relatively cheap or cost nothing at all.

  4. The museums are great to start. The Coca Cola Company, The Mall of Georgia. I don't live there but I have visited these places.

Visit Stone Mountain.  It is about a 45 min drive Northeast of Atlanta.  Look it up on-line.  Very kid friendly.  Not as expensive as downtown attractions.  Great day trip.  Petting Zoo, Train ride around park, Cable car up to top with excellent views of Atlanta, Historical site, Mountain village at base near carving offers fun things for the kids, nightly laser show on the lawn brings carving to life, a real unique day for the kids.

  6. if u plan on staying in metro atlanta, go to the either/both of gergia aquarium and coca-cola museum. they r right next to each other, ive been to both and theyr really cool. even if u dont wanna go, go to the aquarium website cuz they have a list of atlanta attractions. u could also go to Zoo Atlanta, thats place is fun. they have a ton of great restaurants too. and there's six flags amusement park
