I have already completed two years at a large university, but the cost of living has forced me to continue my education online. What are some of the best online accredited colleges that are affordable?

  1. There are numerous online colleges and universities for you to choose from! Have you decided which subject you want to go for? You can find an entire list of accredited and affordable online colleges and universities, their reviews and a separate list of subjects at http://www.onlineedublog.com/

    hope it helps!

  2. Without knowing more about what type of program you are looking for it is difficult to say what is the best college for you. I would echo what others have said on here that you should make sure that any school you consider is regionally accredited. I would also contact a number of schools to find the best fit for you (financial and schedule requirements, as well as reputation by potential employers). Too often people choose to attend the first college they find that offers a program they are interested in without invesitgating other options. You wouldn't do that when choosing a campus to attend so you shouldn't online either.

This site has some good information on various regionally accredited online degree programs and some schools to help start/broaden your search:

    Good Luck!

  3. Hi, my name is Patricia. Have you ever checked out Ashford University? They are really Great. I myself am taking classes online with Ashford. They are affordable, and you can transfer your credits.

  4. If you've already put in two years and you are looking for an affordable option, your first search should be to see what distance learning options are offered by public colleges and universities in your state. Many schools have started reaching out to students through online courses. Another option is to see if your local community college sponsors teletechnet courses with other universities. You can take these courses partially online and partially at the community college, but they are usually actually taught by four-year schools.

    Good luck!

  5. You can use edsoup.Just sign up. Let them find you. It's easy and free.

  6. All on-line schools are so expensive you'll end up spending more money on tuition than you would have in gasoline to get to any university.  Some of them are more expensive than Harvard.  If you can afford Harvard, wouldn't you rather have a degree from there?  Go to your state university's schedule and look up the on-line classes.  All schools have them now, and you wont have to give away your first born child.
