I can read katakana and hiragana, but I only know a few kanji. I'm looking for resources to help me with japanese grammar, vocab, and comprehension (something that would help me learn to read easy manga in japanese would be great :D) I'm at a beginner-to-intermediate level. I don't have enough money to subscribe to a site, but I reckon I can persuade my parents to pay for a textbook, if that's the best option for learning on your own.
I'm 16 and I'm starting Japanese as part of my International Baccelaureate in September. Since I've already been studying the language at home, I've been told that if I can pass a Japanese GCSE early in the course then the teacher will continue to teach me up to an A level. This would be amazing because my dream is to continue studying japanese and I wouldn't be able to without an A level. So I'm serious about this! :) (Has anyone else here done the Japanese Standard IB, btw? How did you find it?)
