You should not buy the first pair on-line. Your doctor should fit you and do a follow-up exam after you have worn them for a week. Lots of nasty things can happen if they don't fit your eyes, or if you don't clean and care for them properly. After you have been measured and fitted by an optometrist who carries the lenses that you want, you could go to any of the on-line sites to buy the lenses. 1-800-contacts etc.

first of all, you should be examined for contacts prior to putting 'plastic' all over your eyes.  an easy way to lose vision is by poor fitting contacts and unfortunately too many online stores (as well as beauty supply stores) will sell contacts just to make a profit.  get the exam first and then buy them where you want.
