  1. You can enter being an officer. Making a lot more money than someone who isn't.

  2. Well you would come in as an officer.  But a better question is why on earth would you want to get underpaid and undervalued in the military when you have a masters?  Use it to make money and pay back all those student loans.

  3. experience.

  4. I would suggest you contact a recruiter and talk to them. I wouldn't go in as enlisted with a masters.

  5. Much depends upon what your degree is in.

If you have a degree the military needs then you would end up working in the field of your degree.

If, however, your degree is in a non-esential field, they may send you to training, relying upon your evidenced ability to learn, and have you work in a field they need.

As mentioned previously, DON'T go enlisted. Ask to speak to an officer recruiter.

  6. Contact a recruiter, BUT do not go in as enlisted.  Make sure you get an officer recruieter.  There are alot of oppertunities out there!  Go Air Force also!

  7.   Certainly a commission if you sign up for OCS.   As an enlisted person, there are small considerations such as a stripe or two but that's about it.

Anyone who has completed a master's program will see a big disconnect intellectually, if he or she enlists.   OCS is the only logical and practical way to serve your country.
