The other day some kids at my school was taking about something called candlejack and when i asked them what it was abo

According to the Urban Dictionary, Candlejack is a villain from the TV show "Freakazoid" who apparently comes to get you if you say his name.

I've never heard of the show, but it sounds similar to the urban legends about saying the names of supposed evil spirits (e.g Bloody Mary) into a mirror a prescribed number of times to see if the thing shows up to butcher you.

Like that godawful film "Candyman".
