What order do i play the Pokemon games in??

i just bought 5 new games Pokemon:ruby,sapphire,emerald,fire red and leaf green, but i don't know what order to play them in .....what do you recommend?? (however I've heard some of them are practically the same.)

Ruby Sapphire and Emerald are in the Hoen Region. And Fire Red and Leaf Green are in kanto i think. It doesnt really matter what order but i would recomend fire red or leaf green before emerald sapphire or ruby. and also i prefer emerald to ruby and sapphire.because you can get all three legendary pokemon instead of just groudon in ruby or kyogre in sapphire.

It really doesn't matter, but chronologically, FireRed/LeafGreen are first.

It does not matter in which order you play them, since technically, the 1st generation (FR/LG) and 3rd generation (R/S/E) are not related. However, I would recommend playing Ruby and Sapphire before Emerald since Emerald is like an installment to R/S.
