  1. Man ... talk about picking the hardest one to explain first ... lol ...

There are 2 Han Solo Trilogies in print.  One by AC Crispin and one by Brian Daley.  You also have to throw in the Adventures of Lando Calrissian trilogy into the mix because all nine books jump all over the place in each trilogy and overlap all over the place.  Here's the titles of the books:  The Han Solo Adventures ... "Han Solo At Star's End", "Han Solo's Revenge", "Han Solo and The Lost Legacy".  The Han Solo Trilogy ... "The Paradise Snare", "The Hutt Gambit", "Rebel Dawn".  The Adventures of Lando Calrissian ... "Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp Of Sharu", "Lando Calrissian and the Flamewind of Oseon", "Lando Calrissian and the Starcave Of ThonBoka".

That being said this can be looked at in two ways ... the casual way would just be to read each trilogy as if the others didn't exist.  That's how I read them as the first Han trilogy and the Lando trilogy came out in 1983 & 1984 and the second Han trilogy came out in the 90s.  All three trilogies are decent reads if you want a ton of back ground info on Han, Chewie, and Lando and the adventures they had before they were drawn into the Rebellion.  You also find out how Han won the Falcon from Lando in a Sabacc game.

If you want to be serious beyond serious ... well ... last winter we were having a really cold snap and there wasn't a lot that could be done outside and I got pretty bored so ... I started digging around the star wars sites on the internet to come up with a page by page way to read these nine books ... ok ... I was REALLY bored ... lol ... If you want to read them the way they fit into the story line this is it:

    6 Years pre ANH:

    The Paradise Snare (AC Crispin)

    5 Years pre ANH:

The Hutt Gambit (pages 1 - 161) (AC Crispin)

Lando Calrissian & The Mindharp Of Sharu (Neil Smith)

Lando Calrissian & The Flamewind Of Oseon (Neil Smith)

The Hutt Gambit (pages 161 - 340) (AC Crispin)

Lando Calrissian & The Starcave Of Thonboka (Neil Smith)

    4 Years pre ANH:

Rebel Dawn (pages 1 - 146) (AC Crispin)

Han Solo At Stars End (Brian Daley)

Rebel Dawn (pages 147 - 187) (AC Crispin)

    Han Solo's Revenge (Brian Daley

Rebel Dawn (pages 187 - 223) (AC Crispin)

Han Solo & The Lost Legacy (Brian Daley)

    1 Year pre ANH:

Rebel Dawn (pages 224 - 381) (AC Crispin)

Ok ... so I was really, really, really, really, really, REALLY bored ... lol ...
