Question:

What order would I do the following renovations?

I want to have the following things done to my house and I want to know what would be the proper order to have them done.

For example, I assume that I would want to do the stucco before the soffit so that the stucco goes to the top of the wall instead of just to the soffit.

If you could give me some reasons as well as your preferred order, I would appreciate it greatly.

New Eavestroughs

New Roofing

Roofing Drip Edges

Soffit

Fascia

Acrylic Stucco

New Windows

Thank you,

Jack

  1. roof first since you are probably tearing it off and you dont want that to damage any of your new stuff below. Even if you are adding a layer falling shingles can do damage. drip edge goes on before the roofers start the roof. Soffit and fascia, eaves troughs (you canadian?) next followed by your windows. Finally your stucco.

  2. Pretty much the reverse order of what you have listed

Windows 1st so you can stucco up to them.

You`ll probably want to paint the stucco then install your soffit(maybe prepainted) Fascia and drip need to be installed before the roofing since it will be install on top of the drip. The eaves will be last so you don`t beat them up with the ladders accessing the roof
