  1. It occurs in chloroplasts. These are the things that contain chlorophyl, the pigment that absorbs all light but green light. Interestingly, it also holds other pigments, which are different colours, so that they can absorb green liht as well. Not every plan has chloroplasts that are mostly gilled with chlorophyl, some have red pigments or orange pigments etc to give them their colour, but they all absorb light.

  2. chloroplast. the chloroplast provides a site for photosynthesis because it contains the green pigment chlorophyll which traps light.

    read about chloroplasts here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chloroplast

    hope this helps! :)

  3. Chloroplast where photosynthesis takes place.

  4. Chloroplasts.

Chloroplasts absorb light and use it in conjunction with water and carbon dioxide to produce sugars, the raw material for energy and biomass production in all green plants and the animals that depend on them, directly or indirectly, for food.

  5. Chloroplast, the chloroplast contains a pigment called chlorophyll, which absorbs sunlight needed for photosynthesis which iccurs in the chloroplast in plant cells
