  1. The general term for organisms that feed on dead decaying organic matter: detrivore.


  2. I suppose we do if you include 1/4 pounders.  You do realize that we exhale carbon dioxide.

  3. Bacteria is one.  Buzzards are another.  A lot of organisms eat dead decaying matter and give off carbon dioxide as a waste product.
