What other 2008 convertibles are under $40,000?

My birthday is coming up and my parents are buying me a car and I really want a 2008 Convertible but I have a $40,000 budget..

you could probably get a mint conditions camaro z28 or SS, they have serious nuts and moderate gas economy

Definitely check out the Chrysler Sebring!  They have a hard top (AWESOME!) and a soft top.  Both are super insulated so they keep sound out with the top up.  They beat the Toyota Solara hands down, which is the Sebring's competition.  You also don't have to crank the top to open and close.  It's as easy as a push of a button and the trunk is really roomy.

Chrysler Crossfire is no longer in production and hard to find...and they are not all that nice under or over $40,000.

Saturn Sky!  Kicking roadster, not a whole lot of trunk room when the top is down, but the Sky is a blast and I've heard the Redline, with the 2.0L Turbo is quite a bit of fun.

The Pontiac Solstice is the same car just different front end, I don't think it looks quite as sharp, but may be easier to obtain.
