What other Hillary supporters are going to vote for Obama now that McCain has chosen Business Barbie for VP?

Palin is PRO-life, pro-fur, pro- oil drilling- the antithesis of Hillary? Didn't McCain get this???

I like Sarah Palin's image as "America's Hottest Governor", etc.  From what I know of her, I like her.  "Business Barbie" ... HA!  (That's funny.)

The truth is, I'm soul-searching.  I respect McCain; I don't respect Obama.  I'm pro-choice and anti-fur.  But I'm pro-drilling and fiscally conservative.  And I could never support the party that bulldozed Hillary into the ground.  SIGH.

What's a moderate capitalist to do?

I guess since I live in the bluest of 'blue' states (New York), my vote for McCain really won't matter much.  Electorally speaking, our state is already spoken for.  That's what I tell my friends who are unfortunately voting for Obama.

No. Look at McCain's personal life. He regards women as convenient objects to be used and then discarded. That's what he did with his wife--his real wife, I mean.

McCain--and the neoconservatives generally--have a very derogatory view of women.  They assume women are essentially mindless, and so all they have to do is put a "Barbie" as you so aptly call her--upp and all the women will flock to her.

He doesn't get it--Palin is not the antithesis of Hillary, she is an insult to any woman with any self-respect.

Further, she is a fraud from the word go.  It takes a fantastic amount of work to properly care for a disabled child like the one she deliberately had.  Women who do that deserve all the credit in the world--they really are saints.  But Palin is not.  There is NO WAY she is taking proper care of her baby AND doing her job as governer. There ae not enough hours in a day. Period.

And most women know that--and will see her for what she is: either a bad mother, or a bad public servant (or both).

I vote McCain. Palin's strengths and weaknesses accommodate McCain's quite nicely.

Obama's pick for vice president said openly, AFTER he was picked, that Obama was too inexperienced.

I can't understand why people think women will vote for a candidate just because she is a woman.   Women generally tend to vote for candidates that are pro-choice and care about women issues and not just because she is a woman.  This also applies to black people. Think about it this way, Alan Keyes is a black conservative and yet black people won't vote for him, yet they will vote for Bill Clinton and he is white.   Anyone that would vote for McCain just because Hillary lost is a very selfish and small person.  We all know there is very little difference betwenn Obama and Hillary.  So wake up people and vote for Obama. Do you really want more of George Bush?
