What other TV options do I have, as I cannot get freeview?

Question

We cannot get freeview and our house is a grade 2 listed building which means we are legally not allowed to have a sky dish on the outside of our house. We only have 4 channels. I am not sure if we can get more channels through our braodband line (virgin website said something about that). A local ariel man said even an ariel booster wont work. Are there any other options because our area switchover isnt until 2010?

does the area have cable? if so you could get cable with the box on the inside of your house (mine is outside) low down.
