Neanderthals were believed to have fully died out around 28,000 years ago, in these times lived the famous Wooly Mammoth, the Saber Tooth Cat and the Wooly Rhino. The neandethals were great hunters although their ability to adapt to the changing enivironment led to  their extinction.
