  1. Can you pls throw away that cigarette ?

  2. I was looking at a national map with a color coded scheme showing incidences, concentrations, etc.  The reddest, highest concentration areas were mostly on the coasts in big cities. (no red in the midwest).  I thought it was Obama voters, but alas, it was foreclosure rates per 100 houses (so not due to higher population).

    Big cities:  I think of liberals, illegal immigrants, extreme wealth vs. extreme poverty, foreclosures, the best private schools, bad public schools, opportunity, and oppression.

  3. Larger cities= more diversity, typically because there's a larger population and the city is more accessible to the "outside world."

  4. I can't think of an ethic distinction if that's what you mean, an ethnic distinction is that smaller towns tend to be clans of only one or two ethnicity's

  5. large cities and small ones,,,they exist,,and yet are they are categorized,,interesting,,,they are the same,,but have different elements and things within them,,interesting to say that we all are categorized by class, race, ethnicity, everything ,just like our structure of government,,and "cities" ,,,it is also interesting to say that their must be a God since we all have leaders in our lives,bosses, managers someone that we may go to ,or listen to,,,INTERESTING

  6. People can be ethically wrong in anothers eyes in any town or city...but the more people you have in a given place, the more you can find that go against your grain. You can find what your looking for in a large or small place...as long as you know what it is.

  7. In a big city you can lose yourself in crowd...literally and figuratively...can be lonely among the teeming populace around...no one really caring and you'll yearn for intimacy;

    And,  in small ones you can never hide yourself...there will be someone or the other always looking for you...no privacy and you'll yearn to be left alone...at times.

  8. Larger cities tend to be more of a "melting pot" than smaller towns. Because of this, they tend to be more open minded about a lot more things. Open mindedness often results in  more liberal viewpoints. Some from small towns tend to feel that the big cities are places of sin and lacking in morality, because they don't conform to the more rigid standards of the small town. That isn't quite true, but there do exist different "community standards" with regard to conduct and dress than in the smaller town. In this day and age with internet service and increased communication to small towns the discrepancy is becoming far less than it has been in the past.
