What other medicine can i take for a cold besides dayquil?

dayquil knocks me out as much as nyquil does. it helps alot but i have to go to work tomorrow and want to know what else i can take for this cold that will not make me sleepy so i can function at work.....?

Coricidin HBP is a good alternative. When I need to work and stay awake without a dripping nose, I take this. I have a borderline thyroid problem so my doctor recommended the HBP. I don't know about the regualr Coricidin, but this one sure helps me.
