  1. I guess Homeowner said it all. Bravo..I actually gave her a thumbs up. She's one Rep who GETS IT.

  2. This argument is based on the right wing nutty pundits spewing their rhetoric.  It has nothing to do with greek props other than perhaps to recognize Greece as the originator of democracy.  I believe that his choice is to honor the anniversary of MLK's famous speech which was presented in front of the Lincoln Memorial which, interestingly enough, has greek pillars.

If you're going to bash Obama (and believe me, he's not my candidate of choice either), then lets come up with something better than his props!

    Truth Seeker:  I know you're watching ;)

  3. Martin Luther King at the Lincoln Memorial.

  4. I think you mean "heil", and Godwin's Law is hovering over you.

When even Homeowner, married etc is telling you you're wrong, take the hint.

sme: Particularly when the British Museum holds them hostage!

  5. Caesar.

    (Bill = man with knife...?)

  6. its getting harder and harder to get authentic Greek props these days.

  7. Any politician who has spoken in front of the US Capitol building or any other of a number of famous spots in Washington.

Much American architecture has been inspired by Greek and Roman styles. "Controversy" over Obama's set is just another example of pointless debate. If you don't like Obama or McCain discuss your opposition to them on the real issues not fabricated controversies.
