What other reasons besides abuse,and neglect can child protective services take a child away?

i just want to know because i was reading an article and i just want to know what other motives /reasons would a child be removed

If the child is not being raised right wing Evangelical Christian, oh no wait, Sarah Palin hasn't become President yet.

A child can be taken away by CPS if he/she is "out of the control of the parents."

not attending school, child has not gotten their immunizations.  

Answer 4

Parents are using drugs, failure to seek medical attention for the children, failure to protect, etc.
