What other types of fish can you put in with african chiclid?

I have a south American in my tank now with them and they do great!

  1. I have mine with clown loaches. Large bottom fish.


  2. yes clown loaches,geophagus juripari,geo.surinamenisis,geo.brazileni... will make good companions.

    some people put danios for dither effect to reduce agression but if you have a south american they probably will be eaten!!!

    everything depends on tank size though!

  4. only african chiclids... not even south american chiclid will be safe
