  1. If your school is having a summer school you could help teach younger kids.

  2. Volunteers are in demand!  The Elks, Moose, Eagles, Sertoma, and numerous others have on-going projects that need help.  There should be a web side for your local area that requests volunteers.  I sure wish you were in my area.  We need you!  Example is:

    http://www.springsgov.com/Page.asp?NavID...

  3. Check out dreamcenter.com....they have tons of AMAZING opportunities ranging from delivering food to homeless people, tutuoring kids, charity car washes....to many things to list here.

I volunteer with them when my daughter is with her dad, and it is an amazing place where you meet a lot of amazing people.

They have high school, college, and adult volunteer opportunities, so you'll get to meet lotsof ages and race.

Check them out...you won't regret it!

  4. Try 1-800-VOLUNTEER

  5. Local cities sometimes have a volunteer center...

Look in the phone book or call your city hall...

    You could volunteer at:

    Rape Crisis Center,

    SPCA,

    Local Zoological society,

    Nursing home,

    Mental Health Crisis Center,

    Hopsice society,

    a charity run thrift store,

    habitat for humanity,

    Salvation Army

    Food Bank
