What other ways can I earn money for college, that are like National Guard?

I want to do something like the National Guard where they help you pay for college, but my parents wont let me do the National guard.so what are some other ways?

Depending on the kind of degree you plan to pursue, you can get free money for school (as long as you pass the certifying exams in the fields).  For example, nursing and education majors (especially math and science majors) can get free educations as long as they pass the necessary tests and/or work in impoverished areas for about 3 years after graduation.  It's a great way to pay for college - no working and payback is done because of your labor, not your salary.

The only other way to get money for college (besides joining the army reserves) is getting a job. Minimum wage doesn't pay well, but during the summer, it's a great time to make money for college.
