If you go to your local thrift store, you can find clothing items for all under $20 or even less than that.

    Have fun!

  2. For the 50s think grease.  We do the same thing at my school with the decades, so i have seen a lot of good ideas for the decades.  You could wear a dress with a kind of poofy skirt and put your hair in a ponytail with a ribbon.  Or if you don't have a dress, you could just wear a pair of black pants or jeans with a white t-shirt.  Roll the sleeves of the t-shirt so that it looks like a tank top and wear your hair in a ponytail with a ribbon.  My friend did that last year, and it looked really cute, but still very 50s.  For 70s you could wear tye dye and bell bottoms.  That one is pretty easy.  For 80s it would be easiest to go for a workout look.  Wear a sweatshirt that has a wide neck to hang off one shoulder (a lot of people at my school old sweatshirts so that they hang off the shoulder), and wear tights and leg warmers.  For the 90s try for a grunge look.  Flannel maybe?  Good luck!

  3. 50s:  Poodle skirt and bobby socks

60s: long hair and tie-dyed shirt and

    70s:  bell bottomed suit

80s:  leg warmers, stone washed jeans, bright green top

    90s:  hip huggers and hoodie
