  1. i think this depends on what weight class the fight is in. there are 8 oz and 10 oz gloves. most people train in 14oz gloves.


  2. In a fight, 8 to 10 ounce gloves are standard, depending on weight.

    For training, 12 ounce gloves are what I prefer for bag work. For full contact sparring, 16 ounce gloves are the most common.
