What pain killer works better?

What pain killer works better, Codeine or Vicodin? Is there one that is stronger?

Vicodin with a whiskey cocktail does it for me.

Vicodin is a sort of synthetic codeine and is usually considered a bit stronger than codeine. For good pain relief you might consider taking advil with your vicodin. They sell it as "Vicoprofen" but it's cheaper to just take generic advil and generic hydrocodone.
