I purchased this new sage green bedding (http://www.herbergers.com/product/bed+%26+bath/comforter+sets/livingquarters+hotel+12piece+ensemble+sage.do) for my master bedroom and I now need to repaint the accent wall in my room to go with the new bedding, any idea what color I should paint? (The picture above my bed is in a tan color frame so I don't want to paint the wall just a brown color or something that will blend in with that picture)

  1. A light brown if you have a sage green bedding its soft and its earthy.

  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think a medium green like "inland" (# 6452) might look good with that bedding.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  3. I think brown is still the only color that would look good with it.. it doesn't matter that the picture is in tan color, you can still have dark brown walls.  You can't really paint the walls green or light bc that will clash, you need a darker color on the walls.. that will also make the green bedding stand out.

So med-dark brown walls or you can also do two walls brown and two green if you Really don't want all brown.

Or try 2 dark brown walls other walls tan color. etc. you can play around mixing the color.. All the walls don't have to be the same color.

you can even do the wall above your head, with the tan picture, some greenish color, as an accent wall, and the other walls brown or tan.

  4. I really like the color of that set! If it's possible, exchange your tan frame for a coffee-colored one, and then paint the wall a light ochre color. Soft, silvery blues also go really well with sage green.

  5. I think you should just cover your walls with posters of Green Day, Avenged Sevenfold, Evanescence, and Black Tide (but you can just scribble over Gabey's FACE
