  1. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "daydream" (# 6541) would be a great color choice for the bedroom, and "bonsai tint" (# 6436) might look good in the living room.

You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  2. With that color carpeting the sky is the limit on colors.  It would really depend on personal preference.  There's a great little site that I like that shows you what the paint will look like with your carpet.  I've listed that site below.  100% free to use.

    Good Luck,

    Michelle

  3. beige carpeting is like a blank slate. Get a color wheel to see what colors go together and I would maybe do one accent wall different than the others, and I would do them maybe a Khaki color

  4. I'd go with something darker (of course, it all depends on the lighting in the room).  Navy or chocolate would make a nice contrast and provide a dramatic backdrop for neutral furniture and accessories.

  5. we have apartment beige carpet...and have an accent wall that is painted "liveable green" which is found at Sherwin Williams (the color on the website looks nothing like what we have so don't go by the website)

I've found that dark earth tones (reds/oranges/yellows) go really well with beige carpet.  Sage greens are great too...our couch/love seat is sage green.

As for the bedroom...depending on the size...large rooms are good with medium to dark tones, smaller rooms are great with soft to light colors.

  6. browns,yellows,greens
