  1. paint with tempera or acrylics


  2. Acrylic paints work the best. Tempera paint sometimes cracks and peels off . Make sure to use a clear spray paint or Polycrylic to seal the acrylic paint.

  3. You can finish surfaces with any type of paint, small objects, etc., and varnish.  Best to use non-yellowing varnish.
