The paint on the lettering has faded with time and id like to re paint it but I was wondering what type of paint would be the best to use to suit all types of weather? Many thanks!

  1. B&Q sell spray cans of paint you can use,it sprays on,and gives effect of stonework,

  2. I would use something like Hammerite Smooth, presumably in Gold. Failing that I would use Humbrol Enamel paint, again in Gold.

You will need to get any old flaky paint off the headstone before you apply the new paint.

  3. outdoor stone paint

  4. black friares gold. avilable at your dulux trade centre.

    hope this helps.

p.s. 24 years in the paint trade.
