What paint is best to paint a car?

if your going by brand  name ppg or dupont is the best on the market it last the longest,and holds up very well,cheap paint wont do very good,it looses its shine in about a year,good luck.

PPG, base coat clear coat.  Outstanding, durable product.

depends on how much you want to spend the cheap route would be to use acrylic enamel. or the bit more expensive way is to use base and clear.  I would also recommend using epoxy primer if you are not having to do body work.
