I'm repainting my bedroom and my bedding is light blue and pewter colored. Id like a color that compliments those but i don't want the same colors repeated EXACTLY on the walls...also i don't want anything to make the room seem smaller. And what do you think about painting alternate walls or even the cieling?

  1. If your room is small stay away from dark colors and painting the ceiling.  Depending on who's going to be using the room, a very light violet or sandy color would look nice.  Or, off white with some stenciling or sponging again depending on what your furniture is like and who's using the room.

  2. I wouldn't paint the ceiling personaly......

And alternating walls would make it look smaller.

You could paint your room kind of a dark blue. It'd probably make it look smaller too but it'd look really cool I think.

Or, just go with the sandy tan color. It'd look beachy!

  3. This is what I would do personally.  I would paint one wall dark blue (the one your bed is on maybe) and the other three a tan or beige color.  Actually I would probably do the whole room in dark blue, but you don't want it to look smaller.  Don't paint the ceiling.  It's a pain in the butt.

  4. ok so well I just move into a new house, and everything so my room, I painted light purple so like a lavender, then i hang dis multi color light lanterns across the ceiling it's looks really good, and ur desk should be black, like my dresser and my computer desk it black and it really compliments the whole room, and get a very colorfull bedsheet it's rreally does bring the whole look together,
